(Public transit, emergency vehicles, railroad, license plates, signs, traffic lights) Up for auction is an AUTHENTIC CAST ALUMINUM name plate letters from a Motor Coach Industries (MCI) highway coach bus. This plate came from a more modern coach (a 102 series coach), but is the same style as the letters used from other era model coaches. They are also the same style letters used on MCI Classic transit buses. This plate letters are in overall great condition for their age. Some of the mounting poles on the back were broken off, but enough is there to securely hold it to the backing. The wooden backboard and framing was made by me. Since the photos were taken a sawtooth hanger bracket was added to the back so it could be easily hung on a wall for proper displaying. This would make an AMAZING addition to any transit or transportation collection! The further away in time from the last date of these buses' manufacture it gets, the harder it will be to find these name plate letters! DON'T MISS OUT!
