This belt buckle features the vintage "M" logo for the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA), which is part of the larger Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). This specific two-toned logo design was used in the late 1970 and 1980’s The buckle features a blue and white "M" logo with the word "TRANSIT" underneath, set within a gold-toned, ornate border.
