Covers bus service from the Pine Aire Station on the Ronkonkoma Branch of the Long Island Rail Road and the Abraham & Strauss Department Store in the Great South Bay Shopping Center on Montauk Highway. The route follows Udall Road across the Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway to Montauk Highway, Railroad Avenue, Babylon Station, the Salvation Army store, and Great Neck Road to A&S. Fold-out transit map and descriptive listing of London’s bus routes, printed more than 54 years ago. This map opens to 17½” x 25½” and was published in 1969 by London Transport, 55 Broadway, S.W.1. It is dated by the code number on the back panel: 769/2546Z/500,000 No. 1. The handsome cartography is by David Penrose. On the reverse side there is an inset plan of Central London, along with a detailed listing of all routes, including flat-fare, red arrow, and all-night buses, and a description of the Red Bus Rover ticket (price 7/-). Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with minor wear, a tiny breaks on a couple of fold corners, and no marks or writing.
