Offered is a fascinating original piece of Philadelphia transportation memorabilia—a schematic sheet for the “Double Decker Bus with Pneumatic Tires” for the Philadelphia Transportation Co. The single sided sheet is offered along with a small vintage snapshop of the scale model of two old trolley cars. The schematic sheeT is 12″ x 8 1/2″ and has some light age toning, a fold down the middle and a bit of minor chipping along one side. The snapshot is 3×4″. The date of the double decker bus sheet is circa 1940 as the old Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company that ran the trolley system was replaced by the Philadelphia Transportation Company in 1940.
